There are motorcycles you hear before you see them. The Moto Guzzi V7 is one of them. That transverse 90-degree V-twin, air-cooled, exposed between the frame rails — it has a pulse you recognise from a block away. Not a rumble. A heartbeat.
Kevin Ichou understood this the day he brought his V7 III to the workshop. Kevin is a photographer — he sees everything. He didn’t want transformation. He wanted the machine to be more itself. “Not betray anything” — those were his words. We took them seriously.
Shane came next, then his father Paul. Two generations, one Arizona road trip they had been planning for three years. They wanted a machine that would carry the weight of that trip — before it happened. The V7 Racer they left with did exactly that.
These are the builds that shaped how we work on the V7. The Indian Summer kits come from that accumulated knowledge.
Kit Ligne — €529
Redesigned aluminium front mudguard and brushed aluminium side covers. On the V7, the proportions are everything — the low centre of gravity, the wide engine, the narrow tank. These two parts recalibrate the visual mass without disturbing the mechanical logic underneath. Subtraction as craft.
Kit Allure — from €719
A full-grain leather tank strap, double-vegetable-tanned, and an engine guard that completes the lower register. On a Guzzi, the tank strap draws a horizontal line that speaks directly to the Italian design vocabulary — long, calm, resolved. It belongs there.

The BAAK N°1 handlebar and leather fork gaiters. The handlebar changes the rider’s posture over the machine — upright, considered, present. The gaiters cover the fork legs that neo-retro motorcycles leave deliberately open, adding mass and shadow where there was lightness. A decision has been made about what kind of motorcycle this is.

The full-grain leather saddle, hand-crafted in Lyon. Kevin’s V7 has one. He told us afterward that it changed how he rides — not the mechanics, the relationship. You sit differently on a saddle that was made for you, on a machine that was finished with that intention.
Some motorcycles, once they reach this point, stop being equipment. They become the thing itself.
