The 650 platform arrived at the workshop as a direct commission from Royal Enfield India. Not a retail order — a conversation between constructors. They wanted to understand what BAAK would do with the Interceptor and the Continental GT. What followed was a dialogue about what these machines could be, carried out in parts and leather and aluminium rather than words.
The Shotgun 650 that came out of that exchange was shown at Bike Shed London in 2026. It was not a concept. It was a statement of what the 650 platform is capable of when taken seriously. The Indian Summer kits come directly from that knowledge.
What distinguishes the Royal Enfield 650 from the other machines in our range is the degree of available territory. Where the Triumph and the Guzzi leave a narrow margin for intervention, the 650 leaves room. Which makes the work more demanding, not less — you have to know which territory to claim, and which to leave alone.

Redesigned aluminium front mudguard and brushed aluminium side covers. On the 650, the original parts are the starting point, not the destination. These two aluminium components reset the visual register — they make the machine look like it made a decision about itself. That decision is the foundation everything else rests on.
Kit Allure — from €719
A full-grain leather tank strap, double-vegetable-tanned, and an engine guard completing the lower mass. The 650 parallel twin — compact, torquey, pleasingly mechanical — gains a frame of reference. The leather draws the eye toward the centre of the machine and holds it there.

Kit Caractère — from €1,249
The BAAK N°1 handlebar and leather fork gaiters. On the Interceptor and the Continental GT, these two parts do more work than on any other machine in the range. The handlebar brings the riding position back toward the rider; the gaiters close the front end visually. The motorcycle stops looking provisional. It looks finished — because it is.

The full-grain leather saddle, hand-crafted in Lyon. This is where the Shotgun 650 conversation ended — with a saddle that made the machine singular. Not a variant. Not a customised production bike. Something that exists once, in this form, with these proportions, for this person.
