The workshop
BAAK was founded in 2012, in the outskirts of Lyon, around a simple intention: bring the texture of materials and the hands of craftsmen back into the world of modern motorcycles. More than a decade later, the workshop in Rillieux-la-Pape gathers twenty artisans who shape custom motorcycles, classic cars and accessories that carry the BAAK signature across the world.
Crafted in Lyon
Every motorcycle, every leather seat, every aluminium part that leaves our atelier was made by hand in our Lyon workshop. We never industrialize. We never delegate to volume. The forms we draw and the materials we choose pass through the same hands from sketch to delivery — the hands of artisans trained by years of work with steel, leather and engines.
Lyon is not a coincidence. The city has been shaped by craft for centuries — silk, leather, mechanics. We’re part of a longer thread. What we do today is the modern continuation of a French heritage of working with our hands.
The materials we choose
Full-grain leather from European tanneries using vegetable processes. Stainless steel cut and brushed in our workshop. Aluminium machined to the millimetre. Each material is selected for what it does over time, not what it looks like on day one. A BAAK piece is meant to age with its rider — not against them.
We work closely with our suppliers. Some are in Lyon, some elsewhere in France, some in Italy. All of them know that the smallest detail matters, because a fork gaiter, a side panel, or a saddle is going to be touched, looked at, ridden for years.

The BAAK team in Lyon
Pole : Executive Management
Sebastien is BAAK’s owner and CEO. Passionate about the world of cars and motorcycles since childhood, he brings with him a wealth of entrepreneurial experience, breathing new life into the company with BAAK REVIVAL.
Pole : Production
Jordan is in charge of the production and the purchases at BAAK’s workshop. He manages the workshop manufacturing staff.
Pole : Upholstery
Estelle, who has always had a passion for classic cars and manual work, is an experienced saddler. She makes saddlery and leather goods at BAAK.
Pole : Workshop
After a 20-year military career, Maxime joined the BAAK team as a car and motorcycle mechanic. A motorcycle enthusiast since the age of 12, he enjoys both motocross and track driving.
Pole : E-Commerce
An avid Defender and biker, Bruno joined Baak with his expertise in digital transformation and global experience management. He is in charge of e-commerce and customer experience.
Pole : Shipping
Motorcycle rider since years, Julien opened up to the world of custom motorcycles by joining BAAK in 2020 to deal with the shipping of online orders.
Pole : Manufacturing
Mickael began his career as a professional dancer, before moving into the field of industrial assembly. He joined the team and now contributes to the manufacture of BAAK accessories.
Pole : Design Office
Adrian is in charge of designing BAAK parts, bringing solid expertise and a unique vision thanks to his training in product design and motorcycle mechanics.
Pole : E-Commerce
Dylan, passionate about the web and speed, puts his training in digital marketing to good use as an e-commerce manager. He is your privileged contact for online customer service, ready to answer all your questions.
Pole : Manufacturing
Hugo, a keen traveler, is an apprentice with the Compagnons du Devoir in industrial design. As a boilermaker, he contributes to the manufacture of BAAK parts.
Pole : Communication
Geoffrey, self-taught and passionate about art and music, is on a sandwich course as a multi-technical audiovisual technician. He is responsible for the production of all photo and video content for BAAK.
